Born in the Moscow region, near Sergiev Posad, Mashkow's upbringing in an artistic family laid the foundation for his lifelong passion for painting.

A professional tattoo artist since 2011, Mashkow has spent over a decade honing his craft and leaving his unique mark on the industry. Before delving into the world of tattoos, he pursued formal education in painting at the Abramtsevo Industrial Art College, named in honor of Vasnetsov, where he mastered the craft and became a fine arts teacher. However, his trajectory took a new direction when a friend introduced him to the art of tattooing during his college years, sparking a transformative journey into body art.
