What was the process that led you to develop your style?
Every artistic style comes from a long process of exploration. When I first entered the
industry, I was quite lost and unsure of my direction. Through continuous experimentation, I realized that I’m especially drawn to vivid, saturated colors — I seem to perceive more tones than most people, and I enjoy translating that richness into my work. Over time, I combined this sense of color with clean structure and flowing lines, which gradually shaped my own distinctive style — vibrant, balanced, and full of energy.
How would you describe the inner process when you practice traditional calligraphy?
Calligraphy, to me, is a form of meditation. I focus on the rhythm of my breathing and the motion of the brush — every line carries intention and weight. The pauses, the flow, the
balance between ink and blank space… it’s like reorganizing the world I see, expressing
calmness and order through movement.
What is your relationship with tattooing and painting? In which of them do you feel you can best express your art?
They complete each other. Painting opened the door to art for me — it trained my eyes and sense of composition. Tattooing allows me to bring what’s behind that door into life, onto the living canvas of human skin. They are like a duet: painting helps me compose the language, and tattooing lets me sing it. If I must choose, I’d say the best expression comes from the harmony between the two.
You travel often; how do those experiences and the exposure to different cultures influence your art?
There’s an old Chinese saying: “Reading ten thousand books is not as good as traveling ten
thousand miles.” Traveling lets me experience diverse histories, cultures, and landscapes — all
of which become part of my visual memory and creative inspiration. What excites me even
more is working as a guest artist in different studios around the world, exchanging ideas with
artists of various styles. Those encounters constantly reshape and expand my artistic
boundaries.
How did you start in this profession?
It started rather dramatically. I once accompanied a friend who was getting her first tattoo,
and I was immediately fascinated — the way art could live on skin was mesmerizing. In that
moment, I knew I wanted my artwork to exist in that form as well. That was the beginning of
my journey in tattooing.
Have you participated in tattoo conventions? What were those experiences like?
I’ve mainly focused on guest work and studio collaborations so far, but I’m planning to join
more international conventions soon. For me, meaningful interaction and good work matter
more than the size of the stage.
What were your sources of inspiration to get into tattooing?
My inspiration came not only from that first encounter but also from the beauty of
calligraphy, the colors of nature, and the unique stories carried by each person.
What are your goals for the future?
As for the future — jokingly, I’d say my goal is to make my tattoos known to the whole
world! But truly, I just want to keep improving. I believe art has no limits. I’ll keep learning,
refining my craft, and exploring new forms of expression.
